Peace, Silence and Solitude

iso 800, f 8, ss 1/400, 70-200 lens

This is around the back of the lakes I was telling you about yesterday. It was so quiet and peaceful there this afternoon. I wish the photo had sound, so you could hear the ocean in the distance and the wind in the reeds. When we first moved to Warrnambool I used to walk down this path on my way home from work - its the perfect antidote to a stressful day.

This is another one I took this afternoon. My DH is getting sick of me taking bird photos, but I love these little wrens. They are so quick though - drives me crazy.

ooooo, gotta love that tree!!! BEAUTIFUL, wish I were sitting under it, reading or playing a guitar right about now. I tend to over glamorize everything, but can't you just picture it?

Great captures! I love the bird shot! Great composition, color and dof! I have no luck with birds. They just seem to know I have a camera and scatter. :)

Birds are so hard to shoot! You did a great job capturing him before he got away!
