I am...

iso 400, f 10, ss 1/320
17-85 lens, focal length 85mm, auto

I have discovered that it is almost impossible to find a good sized number 39 anywhere. I drove all around town looking for house numbers, phone numbers on advertising, car rego numbers, anything - NOPE. So when I found this one on a front gatepost, I ran up to the house, quickly took the pic (hence the auto) and bolted back to the car. If anyone saw me they would have thought I was crazy.

LOL at your story. I took my camera into the Toys-R-Us the other day, people looked at me funny but they just don't understand.

Congrats on finding the number, great shot!

What a creative idea! LOVE it! My husband is a real estate appraiser and takes pictures of people's houses every day. He's been chased a few times! ;)

I was just thinking of doing this type of post today. I was driving and looking at all the numbers thinking for one of my posts this week I will find the number 31 as I am 31.

Great shot. Now I will have to think of something else! Hmmmmm

How funny. That reminds me of the time I wanted to take some pictures of the full moon rising on my way to picking my kids up from school. I stopped my car a few blocks from my house and got out to take pictures. Someone watching me followed me in their car all the way to my kid's school. Freaked me out a little bit, but I'm sure I freaked them out too. Nice shot! I love the 39 you found.

What a nice '39' - shoot-and-run is completely the kind of thing I'd do, too. :)
