After the Rain
Today the heat finally broke and it rained. Beautiful heavy rain. And after the rain the sun came out and the light and the clouds were amazing. I want to use this challenge to get away from landscape shots, but today I couldn't resist. This is the light and shadows my blog was named after. So today I have lots of pics to share. The first three were all taken just after the storm finished, about 6 pm. The last one was taken at about 8 pm. I was just coming inside and I noticed this huge white billowing cloud. All were taken with my 70-200 lens. I should have switched to the 17-85 (especially for the last one), but I was too lazy. All taken on manual setting and hand held. The first two were played with in PS (using Roman Johnston's dynamic range instructions) to get the sky and the foreground both looking good. The last two were just pretty much sooc. HHCC always welcome.

Dang girl, these are all awesome. I really like the top 2 and the bottom one. I am the opposite of you and pnhoto mostly people, but then my landscape is pretty bland around here especially with winter.
I like how you captures the cloud rays in that last one. I am going to try some cloud shots before years end.
