Who is this bald woman

This is Alison, my work colleague, having her hair all cut off for the Australian Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave day. We raised over a thousand dollars, which was good, but well short of the $4000 target. If we get to the target by the end of the week I'll shave my head too.

The photographer from the local newspaper was there, with his 70-200L 2.8 IS - talk about lens envy.

settings all auto - I know very slack

Auto is not always bad...this is a great storytelling photo and the conversion, perfect for the situation.

What a great thing she's doing too...if only I was that brave. I admire her generosity and courage.

'Well done' to her. My BIL sometimes does a little freelance work for the standard, he has a few of those white lenses that make a little bit of drool escape the corner of my mouth, I keep daydreaming that one day he's going to give up photography and give all his lenses and camera gear to me, girls gotta dream hey?LOL.

I've never heard of this particular fund raiser. What a generous act.
