Playing around with conversions
These are a couple of pics I took this afternoon. Joey is at that age (9) where she can look so grown up in pics, but still wants to do things like walk along the rocks at the edge of the garden. I had a bit of a play around with conversions. They both started out as SCP barely sepia and then went from there. There is another pic, but I seem to have temporily lost it. I hate it when you save something and then can't work out where it is. Iso was 400, f 5.6, don't know the ss.
thank you for all the comments on my pics. I'll have to reshoot the lighthouse one - try and work on the composition a bit more. Surrounding the lighthouses is a olde worlde maritime village, Joey is camping there next weekend with the girl guides. It would be a fabulous place to take pics.
Heather i'll trade you a lighthouse and some rugged coastline for one of those amazing mountains that you have :)

These are great, Patti! I love both of them. The conversions are awesome--a little something away from the norm. And, you managed to get catchlights without glare! Wow~really nice job.
Didn't get to comment on yesterdays, so I'll leave it here. Love the red and white lighthouse. Gorgeous. I might like to see a different perspective or angle. The colors in it are very crisp and vibrant.
LOVE the bottom pic. The lighting is perfect in that one. As always, Patti, I really enjoy your stuff!
great conversion. The top one the brown is so great. I've been shooting a lot of feet lately, but haven't really processed any...now I think I should. good job
I loe the second one- it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz!
Your conversion is lovely- nice and warm.
