Old flowers

This is the remains of my Agapanthus flowers. i usually chop them off, but I want to collect some seeds.

This is one from a few days ago. It was taken after sunset, with just the last remaining light in the sky. You should all give this a try, it was heaps of fun. I had no idea how it would turn out, but I'm thrilled with the result. The light on the island was from cars driving down the road behind where I was set up.

Yesterday was the first day i have missed since the POTD started - kinda a bit sad, but I had to get my BAS (tax) done. I'm sure it won't be the last day i miss. Thanks for the comments about the car pics. It was one cool car - and in such good condition - I wish my body looked that good.

Love the post sunset glow you captured.

The flower head is intriquing. I don't think I've ever seen that flower before.. or at least not by that name.

That sunset is spectacular. We're going to have to start convincing you to create a calander with these images...
I especially love the light reflection from the passing cars. It's just a detail that gives a whole lot of interest.

I'd like to have seen the flower before it's passing to get a sense of it. I don't think I'm familiar with it either.

Both pictures are great, but the sunset photo is absolutely amazing. You're right, I'm going to have to try that. Fantastic!
