Sunset Sailing
Today I learnt very important lesson... always take all your gear with you (DH is saying "I told you so"). Thinking I would just be taking some sailing shots I only took my 70-200 lens. I got some good shots, but then I turn around and saw this amazing sunset. The tide was really low so there were these big rockpools reflecting the colours. I'm not unhappy with these pics, but I sure wish I had my 17-85 with me. For some reason my computer is hiding the settings, but I'll post them when I find them. I used Noiseware on these shots, first time I have used it - very impressed. I think the colours are a bit muddy in the sailing one and my horizon is a bit crooked - oops
Have a nice weekend.

These are stunning!!!
Great job :)
Beautiful shots!!
Love em all... I can see why you would have liked a wide angle lens. Great beauty to capture!!**The sailing pic is my fave...
About your settings, I have figured out that after you run noiseware, the settings disappear. So, I always look at the original for them. (I save almost every version of a pic. Probably shouldn't--my computer is FULL!)HTH...
gorgeous. I love the colors, so warm and inviting!
Beautiful sunsets! I think you did great with the lens you had!
I totally love the second one. The rolling clouds are awesome. Great capture!
Wow, beautiful shots, fabulous color!
Wow, gorgeous colors! And your POTD from yesterday is perfect. Who would think one could look up and see a tennis ball wrapped around a power wire?!?
LOVELY! I think my favorite is that last one, the composition is so interesting and eye-appealing.
WOW! So gorgeous! I love those warm colors!
beautiful colors.
Wow, these are beautiful. Almost otherworldy with the color!
Wow! Beautiful!
Thanks everyone. I went back today with my wide angle lens - no colour in the sky at all - aaarrgghh. Thanks Jan for the tip about the noiseware. I have found the originals and posted the settings
