One from my backyard
iso 200, f 4, ss 1/320This Gum Tree is in my backyard. As you can see the flowers are a lot smaller and the leaves are about a foot long. Most of the leaves are that bluey green colour and kinda leathery, but I thought these ones in the top pic looked kinda cool with the veins showing through. I'll get a whole tree by the end of this week. Pity I cut off the tips of the leaves in the top one.

it's about the only thing that's attractive about a gum tree is'nt?
apart , of course, from the ghost gums, they're beautiful.
Lisa all post some pics of the flooded gums from up near my mum's they are beautiful, really tall and straight.
