Same sunset, two views

The sunset this evening was really pretty. I was trying to capture the silhouette of the lighthouse and the Norfolk Pines. The angle isn't right though and there isn't enough separation between them. I'll have to scout for a better location. The second one is basically looking in the reverse direction. Again more pines - they are everywhere here. The sky was a really pretty soft pink.

Gorgeous colors!! I do wish there was more separation from the lighthouse and the trees, but it's still gorgeous!!! Love your stuff, Patti. TFS!

I like the first one. It would look great in my friend's kitchen. She has those orange-y/terracotta walls.

Ooooo, that color in the first one is lovely. It looks like wildfires around here. Love how orange the sky is!

WOW! I love that orange sky and the silhouette of the trees and lighthouse, even though it's not the angle you were after. I looked further down your blog as well (I've missed a few days) and you are really good at sky pictures. All the sunsets, the rainbows, the clouds... they're beautiful.
