Flinders Street

On Sunday I went to Melbourne (our state capital, pop about 3 million) for a work conference. Like most work conferences it was really boring, but I did get to catch up with a very dear friend whom I haven't seen for years. The building in this pic is Flinder's Street train station. I really like how it kinda glows so warm against the dull gray of the street and sky. Melbourne is a lovely city, but very gray.

I agree, I like the warmth of the building, like the sun was spotlighting it or something:) I think I would crop some of the cars out but that's JMHO. I like it as is:) Crystal clear! No haze at all. Nice Job!

Hi Patti! Yep, love the warm glowy feel of the building. Well done on that capture.

And, looking back at your previous posts, I just kept going back to the picture of the lone tree--the colors and composition are perfect, imo. I love the clouds, just everything. Wonderful!

It looks different to the Flinders I'm used to seeing. I think it's the angle, I'm used to seeing it from a different angle. Do you still have to do that stupid turn there?
