And now for something completely different
These are some pics I took yesterday. I clambered down under a bridge to get pics of the river - well the river shots were pretty ordinary, but I found this really cool graffiti. I'm usually very anti graffiti, but the colours of this were fabulous. I really hate mindless, talentless tagging of other peoples property. I had fun PP'ing these - way over sharpened them to give the edgy feel. I didn't adjust the colours or saturation though, it really was this bright. i might even run them through some actions to see how they look. Today i took a really nice pic of my DD and her friend, but I have to check with her Mum before I post it here.

Holy color! I'm loving them. My hubby is a big fan of grafitti art so I had to show him these... Good job!
These are really cool...the colors just POP out at you!
Wow Patti, that's really some cool grafitti!
I love how you're able to find ordinary things and turn them into something cool to look at...and you're right, the color is nice and rich as it is.
TFS!
I forgot...I used 2.8 in my shots with the 50mm...but I still don't like it because it takes too long to focus (plus it's noisy as compared to my 85mm).
that first one is awesome! the color is amazing! great job on getting under that bridge!
Interesting!
A year or so ago I read an article on graffiti and there is certainly a subculture of them out there. Surprisingly this is how some of them get started in their artist pursuits as far as careers.
Yowzers!!! That is very colorful, indeed. Talent jumps off those walls. Nice capture.
Yes, I would totally run them through actions just for fun, but wow...they are bright in and of themselves. I always think it's neat, but then I think of the property it's defacing and think twice. i like the first one best.
That's alot of color! Pretty cool :) I like the angle on the second one. Where are hte pictures of the river ? LOL
I would run an urban action on them just to see what happens:) Cool shots:)
